18 Years of Being ISO 9001 Certified!
For the past 18 years, Cemcorp is proudly an ISO 9001 certified company. In September 2018, ISO 9001:2015 will replace the recent ISO 9001:2008 certification. You might know, the international community recognizes ISO 9001 as a Quality Management System. As a professional engineering company, we take these types of certifications very seriously. As a result, we take pride in assisting clients all the way across the world, and an internationally recognized certification helps us maintain quality while delivering on client needs.
ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015
Being certified helps organizations like ours ensure that we meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders. At the same time, we meet statutory and regulatory requirements related to all of our products and services. Between the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015, there is a greater focus on organizational risks, opportunities, changes and quality objectives. For the past five months, Cemcorp has been preparing for the recertification audit, which included a complete quality manual rewrite. With a focus on streamlined internal administration, this has totally affected how we do business, in a good way. In early June, we successfully passed our recertification and we attribute this to great effort made by our team.
The Effect Of being Certified On Us & Our Customers
The recertification has also brought the spotlight back to what matters for us and out customers — leadership and management. While training and development is consistent for us, this recertification has ensured that we continue to demonstrate leadership and commitment. As well, we have taken this as an opportunity to see how we can improve ourselves as a company, the services we offer, and the customer experience. We look forward to continuing to provide specialized consulting in the fields of industrial processing and manufacturing, servicing the food, distillery, brewery and chemical industries.
